Description

Every year workers are injured as a result of traffic-related incidents while performing work in and around public roadways. TheĀ Regulations for Construction ProjectsĀ in Ontario require employers to have a traffic protection plan in place to ensure that workers are protected. In addition, a specific traffic control plan, designed to protect both workers and road users, must be developed and available.

This program assists those responsible for creating, implementing, and/or overseeing traffic control in temporary work areas to develop an effective traffic control plan. Participants are taught using typical layout case studies.

I CAME IN WITH ZERO KNOWLEDGE ON ANY OF THE THERMS USED (ROPE GRAB, LANYARD), SO A REALLY BASIC RUN OVER WOULD BE GOOD. HOWEVER, WHENEVER I ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS, IT WAS ALL VERY CLEARLY EXPLAINED (WITHOUT MAKING ME FEEL STUPID). THE QUALITY OF THE INSTRUCTING WAS EXCELLENT. I LEARNED SO MANY THINGS THAT I CAN DEFINITELY APPLY, PLUS I WAS NEVER BORED. REALLY GOOD REAL LIFE EXAMPLES WERE PROVIDED AND SEEING THE ACTUAL EQUIPMENT REALLY HELPED. THANKS!
